Dann könnte dir about::power gefallen!
Die Plattform versammelt verschiedene Ansätze, sich solche Fragen zu stellen. Unter deinem eigenen Ansatz kannst du ein Archiv von Materialien anlegen, die dafür wichtig sind. Im Fabulationsmodus kannst du Texte verfassen, in denen du dich auf verschiedene solche Materialien beziehst – die, welche du selber gesammelt hast genauso wie die aus anderen Approaches. Natürlich geht das alles auch gemeinsam mit Andern.

Dabei ist es egal, ob du Profi bist im Verfassen von Texten oder das noch nie gemacht hast, ob du dichtest, künstlerisch oder wissenschaftlich arbeitest oder als Zeug*in auftrittst und Ereignisse aus deinem Alltag beschreibst. (oder, oder, …)
Alle Texte, die sich auf dasselbe Material beziehen, erscheinen im Fabulationsmodus in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Sie berühren sich und kommen in Dialog, auch wenn sie aus verschiedenen Welten stammen.

Das Vorgehen ist experimentell, möchte ein Wissen schaffen, das allen gehört und niemandem. About::power geht davon aus, dass Wissen an Erfahrungen klebt. Es hat keinen exklusiven Ort (wie zum Beispiel eine Universität), sondern kann überall entstehen. Ein Wissen, das seine Wirksamkeit reflektiert und auf lebbare Zukünfte für alle ausrichtet.
Ein solches bleibt zwangsläufig in Bewegung, unabgeschossen. Es lässt sich nicht auf den (einen) Punkt bringen, aber anwenden! Es verändert die Welt und verändert sich an der sich verändernden Welt.

Interessiert? Wie könntest du anfangen? Folgende Szenarios können das vielleicht veranschaulichen:

Szenarios

Szenario 0: Du bist neugierig geworden, weisst aber noch nicht so genau ob, oder wie du dich beteiligen möchtest.
Warum treffen wir uns nicht auf ein Gespräch und reden über das, was dich an about\::power interessiert und über dein Projekt oder was dich sonst umtreibt. Wir könnten auch fragen, was für Machtformationen da auftauchen, und was für Herausforderungen sie stellen. Wenn du einverstanden bist, zeichnen wir unser Gespräch gleich auf und schauen danach, ob wir daraus einen Text für eine Fabulation auf about::power machen. Daraufhin könntest du oder könnten wir ein kleines Archiv mit Bezugspunkten anlegen, die in dieser Fabulation vorkommen. Diese bilden dann einen Approach oder du schliesst sie einem bestehenden Approach an, der passt. Sie werden mit deiner Fabulation verbunden sichtbar. Wenn andere Menschen in der Zukunft sich auf dieselben Materialien beziehen, dann werden ihre Fabulationen mit deiner verknüpft.

Szenario 1: Du hast ein bestehendes oder geplantes Projekt, in dem Machtfragen wichtig sind. About\::power nutzt du zu dessen Dokumentation, um Resultate zu publizieren, oder um zu reflektieren, was im Projekt passiert.
About\::power eignet sich bestens um zum Beispiel die Ergebnisse eines Workshops oder auch eines längeren Projektes zu dokumentieren und zu reflektieren. Auch und gerade, wenn verschiedene Beteiligte, verschiedene Perspektiven darauf haben und ausdrücken möchten.
Schritte:

1. Du beschreibst deine Herangehensweise (“Approach”) bei dem Projekt und was für Fragen zu Machtformationen dich dabei interessieren. Je nach Projekt kann diese Beschreibung kurz oder lang sein, aus einer einfachen Beschreibung bestehen oder eine komplexe Methodologie beschreiben. Das Ziel ist, dass andere nachvollziehen können, warum da was für Materialien** abgelegt werden und was dich bei dieser Sammlung für Machtfragen interessieren.
   Weitere Fragen, die produktiv sein könnten, um einen Approach bei about::power anzulegen: Was wollte ich mit dem Projekt herausfinden? Was für Fragen in Bezug auf bestehende Machtverhältnisse beschäftigten mich dabei. Was für ein Gebiet oder Gegenstand war dabei im Fokus? Aus welcher Position heraus handle und denke ich dabei? Und was für Ideen oder Fragen über die Veränderung bestehender Machtverhältnisse spielten mit? Wie hat sich das auf mein Vorgehen ausgewirkt? Wie hat sich das auf meine Art und Weise Material (Print, Aufnahmen, etc) zu generieren ausgewirkt? Wie hat sich das auf die Art und Weise ausgewirkt, wie ich Situationen gestaltet habe?
2. Material archivieren: Sobald ein Approach angelegt ist, kannst du darunter Materialien archivieren, die für dein Projekt wichtig waren oder werden oder die daraus entstanden sind. Du kannst davor bei Bedarf Unter-Sammlungen anlegen. Du kannst bei jedem Eintrag entscheiden, ob das verknüpfte Material öffentlich zugänglich sein soll. Du kannst auch bereits unter anderen Approaches archivierte und als öffentlich gekennzeichnete Materialien deinem Approach hinzufügen. Im Zweifelsfall, frag bei den Responsables nach, ob etwas zu beachten oder in der Beschreibung zu ergänzen ist.
3. Fabulation(en) schreiben: Schliesslich kannst du Fabulationen schreiben, die das Projekt nochmal reflektieren oder sich sonstwie auf das Material beziehen, das du abgelegt hast. Du könntest auch andere an deinem Projekt Beteiligte einladen, sich in Form einer Fabulation nochmal zum generierten Material zu äussern. Du kannst jederzeit (ohne Nachfragen) auch von anderen abgelegte Materialien in deine Fabulationen einbinden, wodurch automatisch Verbindungen oder Nachbarschaften entstehen.

Szenario 2: Du möchtest etwas dokumentieren und / oder oder reflektieren was du erlebt hast → siehe Szenario 0. Ein Gespräch ist oft ein guter Einstieg. Natürlich könntest du dieses auch mit deinen Freundinnen / Genossinnen / Allies, etc. führen und ein Audio / Video / Transkript oder ein aus einem Transkript entstandenen Text einbringen.

Szenario 3: Du beginnst mit einer theoretischen Frage die dich umtreibt. → siehe Szenario 1, Schritte

Szenario 4: Du hast bereits einen Text, den du gerne als Fabulation auf about\::power veröffentlichen möchtest → schreib eine email an info@aboutpower.net

Szenario 5: Du möchtest auf eine Fabulation auf about::power reagieren. Schreib einen Kommentar an die responseables. Oder Vielleicht magst du gleich eine eigene Fabulation als Antwort schreiben? Wenn sich diese auf Materialien bezieht, die noch nicht online sind, überlege dir einen Approach oder lege eine Untersammlung in einem bestehenden Approach an, der dafür passt.

*Materialien können digitale Dokumente jedweder Art (Ton/Text/BildVideo/etc.) sein oder Hinweise auf den Ort an dem physische Gegenstände oder Dokumente liegen.

Are questions about power relations and how they could be changed an important aspect of your work? Or are you disillusioned with the developments of recent years and looking for a space to reflect on the effectiveness of your activism?
Then you might like about::power!
The platform brings together various approaches to asking such questions. Under your own approach, you can create an archive of relevant materials. In the fabulation mode, you can write texts in which you refer to various such materials – those that you have collected yourself as well as those from other approaches. Of course, you can also do all this together with others.

Come along for a while, work on your project on about::power in dialogue with others, contribute your thoughts on the future of the project and take part in a joint closing event! This is a personal invitation. You are welcome to suggest other projects / groups / people!

It doesn’t matter whether you are a professional writer or have never done it before, whether you write poetry, do artistic or scientific work or appear as a witness and describe events from your everyday life (or, or, …). All texts that refer to the same material appear in close proximity in the fabulation mode They touch each other and enter into dialogue, even if they come from different worlds.

The approach is experimental and aims to create knowledge that belongs to everyone and no one. About::power assumes that knowledge sticks to experience. It does not have an exclusive location (such as a university), but can emerge anywhere. Knowledge that reflects on its effectiveness and is orientated towards viable futures for all.

Such an object inevitably remains in motion, incomplete. It cannot be brought to the (one) point, but it can be applied! It changes the world and changes with the changing world.

Scenarios

Scenario 0: You’ve become curious, but don’t yet know exactly whether or how you want to get involved.
Why don’t we meet up for a chat and talk about what interests you about::power and about your project or what else is on your mind. We could also ask what kind of power formations are emerging and what challenges they pose. If you agree, we can record our conversation right away and then see if we can turn it into a text for a fabulation on about::power. You or we could then create a small archive of reference points that appear in this fabulation. These then form an approach (or you can add them to an existing approach that fits). They become visible in connection with your fabulation. If other people refer to the same materials in the future, their fabulations will be linked to yours.

Scenario 1: You have an existing or planned project in which power issues are important. You use About::power to document it, to publicise results or to reflect on what is happening in the project.
About::power is ideal for documenting and reflecting on the results of a workshop or a longer project, for example. Especially when different participants have different perspectives and want to express them.

Steps:

1. You describe your approach to the project and what questions about which power formations interest you. Depending on the project, this description can be short or long, consist of a simple intro or a complex methodology. The aim is for others to be able to understand why what kind of materials* are being collected and what kind of power issues interest you in this.
   Other questions that could be productive for creating an approach in about::power: What did I want to find out with the project? What questions in relation to existing power relations were I interested in? What area or object was the focus? From which position do I act and think? And what ideas or questions about changing existing power relations were involved? How did this affect my approach? How did it affect my way of generating material (print, recordings, etc.)? How did it affect the way I framed situations?
2. Archive material: As soon as an approach has been created, you can archive materials under it that were or will be important for your project or that have arisen from it. You can create sub-collections to organize them if required. For each entry, you can decide whether the linked material should be publicly accessible. You can also add materials already archived under other approaches and labelled as public to your approach. If in doubt, ask the responsables whether anything needs to be taken care of, or added to the description.
3. Write fabulation(s): Finally, you can write fabulations that reflect on the project or otherwise refer to the material you have filed. You could also invite other people involved in your project to comment on the generated material in the form of a fabulation. You can also incorporate material created by others into your fabulations at any time (without asking), which automatically creates connections or neighbourhoods.

Scenario 2: You want to document and / or reflect on something you have experienced → see scenario 0. A conversation is often a good way to start. Of course, you could also have this with your friends / comrades / allies, etc. and contribute an audio / video / transcript or a text created from a transcript.

Scenario 3: You start with a theoretical/political question that concerns you. → see scenario 1, steps

Scenario 4: You already have a text that you would like to publish as a fabulation on about::power → write an email to info@aboutpower.net

Scenario 5: You want to respond to a fabulation on about::power. Write a comment to the responseables. Or perhaps you would like to write your own fabulation in response? If it refers to material that is not yet online, think about an approach or create a sub-collection in an existing approach that is suitable for it.

*Materials can be digital documents of any kind (sound/text/image/video/etc.) or references to the location of physical objects or documents. In about::power, all materials are attached to one or more approaches. Materials can be referenced (and shown) within Fabulations. When that is done, they build “material connections” between these Fabulations.

These are just some Ideas to get you goin and for sure no finished list!
